somehow i have landed up with my very own fantasy football league team - SAY WHAT??!! ( for those not in the know you can pick a fantasy league online containing players from the English premier league. the idea being to compete against others and to possibly win money or bragging rights!)
I am not sure how this happened really but hubby had created a fantasy team and was talking about it, i mentioned it to my brother who had a team and others mentioned their teams on twitter and FB, so the next thing i knew i had a team! WHY? well i will be the first to admit I have very little knowledge of the players, or of the teams, so i wanted to see if someone with little to no knowledge could do well and possibly beat the teams my friends and family had.
I did take on some advice from my brother and Dave as well as picking some completely random people. I don't plan on doing much else except checking my score every now and then.
Today i checked in. The good news, my husbands team has 25 points, mines has 60! I am very proud of the first week, who knows what will happen over the year! Not likely many of you will have a team but if you do let me know!

There's a fantasy tour de france league I'd love to join but always feel intimidated by. I should just go for it, like you did!
